The production of our Wineyards

Each wine tells its story talking about the territory in which it is born through the choice of the vines, the forms of breeding, the choices of winemaking, the use of wood or steel. Producing wine is first of all a bet with nature, it is she who dictates the rules of each vintage, and it is to this unpredictability that our label names are linked. They are names of gods and heroes of Greek mythology that has always linked the fate of men to the dominating force of nature. Traditional Tuscan vines such as Sangiovese and Canaiolo alternate with French vines such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay which vinified in purity enhance the peculiarity of the product.

The heart of the farm

The heart of the farm is the cellar where the wine comes to life: five labels that tell, in the various expressions of scents and tones, the marked Tuscan typicality.

In the company there is a store where you can discover our labels and our bulk wine selections: a local reality that tells its own territory through the quality and simplicity of its products. The farm is lived and proposed to visitors in its many aspects: tastings, winetour and agritourism.

Crespenio

Crespenio is the latest red wine, born to characterize the area.

It is born from the oldest vineyards of the farm, made of a mixture of traditional Sangiovese based Tuscan grapes.

The Crespenio name was born to improve the traditional farm reality, in order to emphasize the strong link with the territory of Crespina, where this wine is born.

The Crespenio name, from Celtic and medieval handwriting, is tied to a fable and nostalgic past.

In the vineyard where the grapes are harvested, thanks to its wide spacing of voluminous vines, light games can be seen through the leaves of the vines, giving the idea of a light stronger than what is really, as if it reflected something.

Crespenio is born from these reflections, as a knight with a shining armor, wandering in ancient vineyards to protect the traditional grape varieties
